Dehusking Rubber Roll

Dehusking rubber rollers are used in rice mills for dehusking paddy to obtain the rice that's widely available to us today. In a modern rice miller, a pair of rubber-lined rollers are mounted and driven in an enclosed chamber. The paddy when fed through these rollers is subjected to various compressive and shearing forces.When these forces are correctly predetermined for a particular grade of paddy (by rubber hardness, resilience, rollers nip, speed and friction ratio) the paddy will remain substantially intact after going through, while the husk is broken off. Hence the efficiency of the process depends on the miller as well as the rubber roller and the quality of the rice thus obtained is directly proportional to the same.
